March and April are great months to be in Las
Vegas. Nice breezes blow through the valley,
and temperatures during sunny days can range from 70 to 78 degrees. For 85% of the year or just over 290 days, Las Vegas is known for beautiful clear blue skies and great sunrises and sunsets.
What to Wear
In general, simply dress for comfort and for the
indoor and outdoor activities you are planning.
Comfortable walking shoes are important

New for Gathering 2019
Gathering Guides for First Timers (and Newbies at Heart).
First-time Attendee Orientation
Is this your first Gathering? A little nervous? No need to worry! Meet both new and experienced attendees in a
session designed just for you. Learn a few tips about how to make the most of your time at the Gathering and
get an overview of the conference packet, the facility layout, the commercial and technical vendors area, food
events, The Glass, Beads & Jewelry Bazaar, Silent Auction, Live Auction, torch events, and nearby activities.
First Time Attendee Information
Whether it’s your very first Gathering or you’re feeling like a newbie, volunteer Gathering Guides will be available to help you navigate conference events this year. This will be similar to our mentor program only Gathering specific so that no one feels lost in the crowd. Our first Gathering can be overwhelming and in the hustle and bustle of Las Vegas it can be easy to walk right past other members in the hallway without knowing you’re both looking for someone to have lunch with!
Our new international director, Esther Silver, suggested this great new meet and greet strategy. Request a guide or volunteer to be a guide during registration. ISGB will match you up to make sure you are able to
meet up with new friends from near and far. Gathering Guides will volunteer to give advice before you arrive and
make sure you can find a familiar face when you arrive as well.
